WASHINGTON — U.S. President George W. Bush on Tuesday expressed serious concern about a deadly outbreak of bird flu in the United States and stressed that "all assets are on the table" to respond to any potential crisis.

"I am concerned about what an avian flu outbreak could mean for the United States and the world," Bush said at a White House news conference. Bush discussed the issue of quarantine and how to enforce it. "One option is the use of a military that's able to plan and move," he said.
