FIJI's Vijay Singh won the 86th PGA Championship after a three-hole playoff with Americans Justin Leonard and Chris DiMarco today.

Singh played the extra holes in one-under-par to win in difficult conditions at Whistling Straits.
The 41-year-old made a tap-in par to clinch his third Major championship, after previously winning the 1998 PGA and the 2000 Masters. Earlier, Leonard had looked like winning in regulation, but he bogeyed the 16th and dropped another shot at the 18th when he missed a four-metre putt to fall into a tie at eight-under-par 280.
DiMarco also had a chance to win in regulation, but missed his birdie putt.
'It was sad to see somebody win it the way I did,' said Singh, who shot a closing 76.
'The putter fell asleep on me a little but I got a new life in the playoff.'
